Let's dive into the highlights of EAPT's 2nd season

29 May 2025

The second season of the rebranded EA Poker Tour has come to an end. And, as all poker fans know, we love the numbers, so let's dive into the highlights!

We got things started in the UK with a big crowd at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham.

Champion: Ali Ayub, who took home £67,400 after a fantastic battle.

Next stop: Batumi in Georgia! The Black Sea provided the perfect backdrop for another amazing EAPT festival.

The total prize pool for EAPT Georgia 2024 reached an impressive $1,135,520 — over three times the original guarantee! Hayk Manasyan was a champion with $53,880 for the first place.

The iconic King's Resort in Rozvadov provided the setting for a huge year-end poker party.

The atmosphere was electric as players competed for the top spots at one of Europe's favourite poker destinations. Vorynka Vasyl took home €52,350 and a trophy for winning the Main Event.

We wrapped up 2024 in Bucharest, spreading some festive cheer and a bit of poker action.

With 421 entries, the EAPT Bucharest Main Event made a strong contribution to the region's poker scene this year. Marian Virlanuta came out on top. He took home €26,700 and the impressive EAPT trophy.

In April 2025, Batumi once again proved to be a major hit with poker fans.

We returned with a guaranteed prize pool of over $1,000,000, which we absolutely crushed to reach a total of $1,453,750. There were 600 unique players representing 30 different countries. There was also a record-breaking Main Event with 811 entries. The Main Event champion, Filonenko Illia, walked away with a cool $75,970!

The last stop of the season was in Cyprus! It's always a great place for poker, and the Mediterranean Poker Party (MPP) was no exception! With 797 players competing for the EAPT trophy this time and a total prize pool of $765,120, the Cypriot tournament had the largest prize pool of the second season of the EAPT, surpassing even the ultra-popular stop in Batumi.

Georgian pro Giorgii Skhuluhiya took home $120,000 and a trophy.

The EAPT united poker players from across the globe, offering them pure poker emotions. Whether it was the thrill of victory, the tension at the final tables, or just good poker vibes, Season 2 was everything we could ask for.

Thanks to all the players, partners, and the team!

We look forward to more poker, more excitement and even bigger things to come!

Stay tuned!
