Marian Virlanuta Wins EAPT Bucharest Main Event!

Congratulations to Marian Virlanuta, winner of the EAPT Bucharest Main Event! Starting the final table as chip leader, Marian kept his cool and dominated the action. In heads-up play, the players made a deal, but Marian still came out on top to take home €26,700, a $4,000 Luxon Pay Grand Final Package, and the impressive EAPT trophy.

With 421 entries, the EAPT Bucharest Main Event was a solid addition to the region's poker scene this year.

The final table was a showcase of local talent, with 8 of the 9 finalists representing Romania. The only exception was Vasyl, who made Ukraine proud with his deep run and finished in 5th place.

The top 4 players - Marian Virlanuta, Bogdan Berinde, Gabriel Geogia and Tudor Alexandru - each secured a $4,000 Luxon Pay Grand Final package and will compete in the Luxon Pay Grand Final in Cyprus next spring.

The Luxon Pay Grand Final is part of the Mediterranean Poker Party (MPP), which will return in 2025 following its huge success in 2024. The 2025 edition will take place at the luxurious Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and Spa in Northern Cyprus from May 2-12, 2025. With its all-inclusive setting and top-notch poker action, it's sure to be one of the biggest events of the year!
