Already twice EAPT has come to Batumi and twice gathered a full crowd in the game venue. The festival's third visit to Georgia is scheduled for September 30 to October 8.

In 2022, the EAPT- well known to CIS players for its long history-expanded its already impressive reach. New European stages were added to former stops in Montenegro, Altai, Minsk, the Dominican Republic, and Prague. In recent years, the series has traveled to Rozvadov, Europe's premier low-cost poker destination; Malta; Barcelona; Madrid; Bratislava; and Bucharest. In 2024, the EAPT celebrated its tenth anniversary in Cyprus, with over two thousand entries in the series' most expensive $2,200 tournament.

A few months after the Cyprus series, the EAPT returned to the former Soviet Union, making an unexpected stop in Batumi, Georgia. The festival's guarantee was set at $350,000, but from the opening day of the series, there was clarity about the underestimation of the Georgian players' and foreign visitors' love of poker. Last September's EAPT Georgia edition attracted a large crowd.

All 25 announced tournaments were filled with people eager to compete for the EAPT trophies, and the guaranteed prize pools were quickly claimed. The Main Event alone raised $370,000, surpassing the original projections for the entire series. Following this success, the EAPT returned to the Georgian resort in April 2025 for the next EAPT Georgia event. Once again, it was a huge crowd!

It became clear that the local poker fans were hungry for a legal game (there had been no tournament series in Georgia since 2017!), and the country's vacationing guests in Batumi liked the inexpensive tournaments with solid guarantees. The conclusion was obvious: the EAPT needed to come to Georgia again. And so we did!

The EAPT returns to Batumi from September 30 to October 8. Thirty-three events, including twenty cup tournaments, await guests of the festival. The total announced guarantee exceeds $800,000, most of which will go to this major tournaments:

The Luxon Pay Cup will take place from September 30 to October 2. The buy-in is $350, and the guarantee is $75,000. This is a warm-up tournament with five starting flights and one final day. Anyone who makes it through Days 1A–1E is guaranteed a payout.

PokerOK Mystery Bounty Battle (September 30–October 3): $400 buy-in, $75,000 guaranteed. It's another warm-up tournament, but with "magical" bounties. Knockouts for knocked-out opponents will be available on Day 2. Before then, players will have four attempts to qualify. This is a branded PokerOK tournament. You can win a ticket in online satellites.

High Roller (October 4): Buy-in is $1,000 with a guaranteed prize pool of $35,000. This series has three tournaments for high rollers: Bounty, Classic, and Super High Roller. You can enter each tournament directly or try to qualify through the Phase tournament. The buy-in for the Phase is much smaller ($150 for this event). You will be given 7,500 chips at the start. Everyone who makes it into the top 15% of the field will carry their chips directly into the tournament. The Phases for the High Roller Bounty Tournament will be held on October 3; the tournament itself will take place on October 4.

Super High Roller (October 5): Buy-in is $2,000 with a guaranteed prize pool of $40,000. The format is similar: you can enter directly or try your luck in the phases. The Phases will be held on October 4 and cost $300 to participate in.

High Roller Bounty (October 7-8): Buy-in is $750 with a guaranteed prize pool of $40,000. As the series draws to a close, you have the option to participate in an additional high-stakes tournament. This time, the structure involves knockouts and more affordable prices. The tournament will start in the evening on October 7 and continue until ITM. Play will resume the next day until a winner is determined. Each knockout earns the player $350. There is also a preliminary round for this tournament, which will take place on October 7 in the afternoon and cost $150.

Main Event (October 4–8): $600 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed. More than a third of the total guarantee will be allocated to the Main Event, which will span almost the entire festival. On October 2 at 5:30 p.m., there will be a Phase 1 of the Main Event for $120. The Main Event days will start on October 4. Players will be given six entry days in total: Players will be given six entry days in total: Day 1A will have 40-minute blind increases, Day 1B will have 35-minute blind increases, Day 1C will have 30-minute blind increases, and Day 1D will have 20-minute blind increases. Days 1E and 1F will be turbo-format, especially for those who want to join late. Day 1E will have 15-minute levels, and Day 1F will have a Last Chance flight with 12-minute levels. All starting flights of the main tournament will be played until the prizes are awarded (15% of the total number of entries). The second day will be the final day; players will have to play until a winner is determined.

You will have the opportunity to play in the EAPT Main Event at a lower cost. PokerOK will also launch an online satellites for this tournament.

Buy-ins for side events remained plus or minus at the level of the spring series. Players will be able to look for their cup for $120-$250.

All 18 EAPT Georgia Cup tournaments, satellites, and phases will be played in a no-rake format. This means that the organizers' commission for all Batumi festival events will be 0%. Accordingly, the prize pools for the tournaments will be determined by multiplying the number of participants by the buy-in. Sounds great, but there is still a spoonful of tar.

Georgia has a mandatory state tax on gambling of 20%. This means that participants in the series will be obliged to pay 20% of their winnings to the local treasury. It doesn't matter if they are foreigners or local passport holders. The tax will be collected when the prize money is paid; you won't have to file any declarations yourself. You will have to pay the tax from the prize money received for entering the ITM zone, as well as for knockouts, bounties, and any other prize money received in tournaments.
