March is the perfect time to swap snowdrifts for warm, bright sunshine, and EAPT Cyprus at Merit Park Casino is the ideal way to do it. With an all‑inclusive hotel, a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event and a comfortable 20 °C outside, it feels like a vacation — only better.
EAPT Cyprus runs from March 8 to 15 and will be held for the first time at the five‑star Merit Park Hotel, a brand‑new venue for the tour in Northern Cyprus. Merit Park combines modern service standards with architecture inspired by the historic Kyrenia Castle, offering comfortable conditions for accommodation, relaxation and play. The property features a beach, pools, sports facilities and a well‑developed leisure infrastructure, making it a convenient choice for those traveling with family.
Travel logistics are simple: with a valid Schengen or Cypriot visa, you can fly via Larnaca, while an even easier option is to fly directly to Northern Cyprus via Turkey. Istanbul remains a convenient transit hub with plenty of flights from major Russian cities as well as neighboring countries.
The EAPT festival itself will span seven days of play. The schedule includes 22 events in total: 13 tournaments with buy‑ins ranging from $550 to $3,300 and 9 qualifying events with buy‑ins from $255 to $630.
ПОКЕРОК will once again partner with EAPT Cyprus, giving players extra opportunities and perks. In particular, players can qualify for the Main Event online via daily satellites and qualifying stages with buy‑ins from 0.02 to 22, as well as take part in a special Last Longer promotion with additional prizes.
At stake are 10 tickets to the EAPT Batumi Main Event worth $1,250 each. To join the promo, players must enter designated tournaments wearing an official ПОКЕРОК T‑shirt, available at the merch desk. The promotion applies to the Main Event (3 prize spots), High Roller Bounty (1 spot), Mini Main Event (3 spots) and Mystery Bounty (3 spots). The T‑shirt must be worn from registration until the very end of the tournament; winners are determined by their final position in the event. Even if a player is the last participant still wearing a ПОКЕРОК shirt, they must complete the tournament in it to receive the prize. All players except brand ambassadors are eligible; full details are available at the merch desk or cash desk.
Organizers have also prepared additional perks for participants in the key events. In the Main Event and High Roller Bounty, each player will receive one Rabbit Hunting Card, which allows them to see the remaining board cards once per tournament after the hand is over (available only to players who took part in the pot).
There is also an Early Birds – 10% Stack Boost offer: players who register before the start of a tournament receive a 10% bonus on their starting stack. This applies to all tournaments except satellites, and in multi‑flight events the bonus is only available in Day 1A.
Key events of the series:
• Luxon Pay Special Bounty (March 8–9) Buy‑in $1,650, $200,000 guaranteed.
The series opens with a Luxon knockout event featuring three flights with 30‑, 25‑ and 15‑minute levels. Bounties of $5,000 will be in play on Day 2, which is also the final day.
• Mini Main Event (March 9–11) Buy‑in $1,650, $100,000 guaranteed.
Right after the Luxon event, players can warm up for the Main Event in its mini version. This three‑day tournament features a 100K starting stack and 25‑minute levels. Late registration remains open through the first two levels of Day 2.
• High Roller Bounty (March 9–11) Buy‑in $3,300, $250,000 guaranteed.
Running alongside the Mini Main Event is the most expensive tournament of the series in bounty format. It has a deeper structure: the starting stack is also 100K, but levels are 40 minutes (45 minutes on the final day). Late registration is open through Level 14 (Level 4 of Day 2). Players can reduce the buy‑in via qualifiers with $375 and $630 buy‑ins.
• Main Event (March 11–15) Buy‑in $2,200, $500,000 guaranteed.
Several qualifiers with a $320 buy‑in will run throughout the series. The Main Event itself features four starting flights: 1A and 1B with 40‑minute levels, 1C with 25‑minute levels and 1D with 15‑minute levels. Late registration will remain open for several more levels on Day 2.
• Mystery Bounty (March 14–15) Buy‑in $1,650, $200,000 guaranteed.
The most intriguing tournament of the festival will close out the series. In this format, players receive bounty prizes for knocking out opponents, but do not know the amount until they open the envelope. There are three flights: 1A and 1B with 25‑minute levels, and 1C with 15‑minute levels. Each flight plays down until all remaining players are in the money.
• Side events. Throughout the festival, players can also enjoy a wide range of side events, including PLO Bounty, Double Board PLO Bomb Pot 5 Card, Hyper Deep Stack, All‑in or Fold and more.
