25 Apr 2026

The first trophy, the first televised final table, the first Main Event win, the first five-figure score, and the first ticket to the Carmen Series Main Event on Cyprus – where he could make history again. The EAPT Georgia series truly became a landmark for Moscow player Pavel Tatarnikov.

As usual, the EAPT Georgia Main Event drew massive attention. Over five entry days, the tournament saw 569 entries. The buy-in was $1,250, but players had chances to satellite in for $125 throughout the series.

The action heated up right away, with 208 entries on Day 1 alone and 33 advancing to Day 2. Chip leaders from the flights included Svyatoslav Sazonov, Akaki Magradze, Irakli Kuchava, Salim Usmanov, and Anastasia Golovacheva.

91 players made the money, each securing a $2,300 min-cash. A final table appearance guaranteed $12,750, with $127,000 up top – the biggest prize pool ever for EAPT Georgia.

16 players returned for the final day, led by Salim Usmanov. Average stack was 30BB to start, and one table streamed with hole cards from the jump.

Play was fast and furious – down to 10 players and the final table bubble by the first break. Giorgi Tchkonia fell just short. Starting the hand with 9BB, he called a blind-vs-blind all-in from Jan Miral: 8♠️8 ♣️vs. Q♣️2♣️. Board: 5♦️A♠️3♣️4♣️7♣️. Giorgi busted 10th for $10,800.

The final table featured Jan Miral, Akaki Magradze, Maxim Arshinenkov, Dilebshoh Rustamov, Soso Gadelia, Salim Usmanov, Pavel Tatarnikov, Artem Tuzhik, and Irakli Kuchava. Jan Miral held the biggest stack.

Irakli Kuchava faced the toughest spot with just 4.5BB. He doubled in an auto all-in but soon shoved A 10  into Jan Miral’s 7 7 . Board: J 9 3 7 4  . Irakli exited 9th for $12,750.

Artem Tuzhik finished 8th in a preflop cooler vs. Pavel Tatarnikov: Q Q  < K J . A king hit the flop, no change by river. Artem took $15,200.

Dilebshoh Rustamov busted 7th ($18,500) in a classic coinflip: K Q  < 10 10  vs. Akaki Magradze. Chip leader Jan Miral fell 6th after Salim Usmanov shoved A 4   from the button and got called by  A Q . A four flopped, and Jan took $23,800.

Soso Gadelia shoved his short stack from the small blind with A 2 , called by Salim’s Q 10 . Board: 10 5 4 J 7 . Soso ended 5th for $32,000.

The top 4 agreed to an ICM chop, leaving $31,680 and the trophy for the finish. Stacks shallow, Salim Usmanov jammed J 7  from the small blind; Pavel called with Q 7 . No help on the board – Salim out 4th for $74,455. Akaki Magradze followed 3rd ($76,825) vs. Maxim Arshinenkov: 4 4  < A 4 . Board: 3 2 J 5 Q

Heads-up pitted Maxim Arshinenkov vs. Pavel Tatarnikov, with Maxim starting nearly 2:1 ahead. Momentum flipped fast. They got it in on a 5 J 3  flop: Maxim’s flush draw 10 4  vs. Pavel’s top pair K J . Turn3 , river J  – no flush, Pavel doubled.

Soon after, Maxim jammed K 7  and Pavel called with K J . Board: 9 J 9 10 A . Maxim settled for runner-up $72,170.

Pavel Tatarnikov - the shortest stack at the final 4 – claims the EAPT Georgia Main Event title, a new career-best $93,350, and a $3,500 ticket to the Carmen Series Main Event on Cyprus.

The series was a dream run: he already snagged his first trophy in the $250 Progressive Bounty ($8,575 including bounties). Now a Main Event win and his first five-figure cash. Congrats to Pavel on this epic triumph!
