19 Dec 2025

The EAPT Armenia Main Event concluded with victory for Evgenii Ilin, who withstood the pressure of the final day and fought his way to the title, securing his first major live poker win.

The first EAPT festival in Yerevan has wrapped up. Winners are crowned, results are in. The series featured 30 tournaments with a total guarantee exceeding $600,000, marking a full debut for EAPT in Armenia's capital and drawing players from various countries. Full houses from day one signaled that the series guarantee would be smashed — and it was, with the Main Event alone generating $300,000 prize pool, while the full 11-day series exceeded $1,000,000 total.

Anushavan Muradyan topped the Luxon Pay Special Bounty (219 entries, 55,669.8 CU / 72,370 $ prize pool), claiming the signature series cup and 6,045 CU / 7,858 $ first prize plus bounties.

Albert Hovakimyan won the EAPT Cup ($300 buy-in, 276 entries, 52,053.6 CU / 67,670 $ prize pool) for 10,004 CU / 13,005 $.

In the series' priciest $750 high rollers, Sergey Kalachev took the High Roller Bounty (5,826 CU / 7,574 $), while Evgeniy Nekrasov won the High Roller Progressive Bounty (72 entries, 38,376 CU / 49,889 $ prize pool) for 5,502 CU / 7,152 $ plus bounties.

# Main Event Highlights

The EAPT Armenia Main Event ($600 buy-in, 200,000 CU GTD, 666 entries, 253,716.8 CU prize pool) ran in classic multi-flight format. Magic numbers abounded: exactly 100 players cashed in Day 2. Flights varied in dynamics, with top stacks by Evgeniy Nekrasov, EAPT Georgia champ Hayk Manasyan, Aleksandr Sazhinov, and Sargis Avdalyam leading into Day 2.

By Day 2's end, 22 players remained, with Karlen Sargsyan as chip leader after a big double-up. So...

The final day set a blistering pace from the first hands. With 10 left, Karlen Sargsyan shoved pocket queens, called by Evgenii Ilin's A Q . The board brought an ace; Karlen exited 10th for 4,300 CU, while Ilin stormed to final table as massive leader.
