EA Poker Tour Returns with a New Look and New Plans

08 Sep 2024

The 2023 – 2024 season marks huge change in the tour, however, with a host of brand new stops, a relaunched website at www.eapokertour.com, and more exciting event confirmations and promotions to come in the near future.

One of well-known festivals for mid-limit players, the EA Poker Tour (EAPT), celebrates its tenth anniversary. During that time, the series has travelled many thousands of kilometers across Eurasia: it all started in Kyiv, and then the game routes stretched from distant Caribbean islands to no less distant Kazakh steppes.

What awaits the players of the new EAPT:

o Confirmed stops in 2023 including the Czech Republic, Italy and Spain

o Recreational friendly €560 Main Event buy-ins

o An EAPT Grand Final at Merit Diamond Resort in North Cyprus in April 2024 featuring a $2,750 buy-in

o Live qualifiers for live events as well as online qualifiers coming soon

o Tournament buy-ins, cashes and commission-free transfers via Luxon Pay.

o Cash games from €1/€2 to €50/€100 during festivals.

The EAPT schedule:

The northernmost location of the tour announced to date will be the series in the UK while the southernmost area is currently Malta. Here is the calendar to date with many locations to be added in the next 12 months.

o EAPT Rozvadov – King’s Resort, Czech Republic - June 21-26, 2023

o EAPT Milan – Imperium, Italy - July 8-17, 2023

o EAPT Barcelona – Casino Barcelona , Spain – September 29 – October 9, 2023

o EAPT UK – Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham, UK - dates tbc

o EAPT Malta – Casino Portomaso, Malta - April 3-8, 2024

o EAPT Grand Final – Merit Royal Diamond, Cyprus - April, 2024

Tournaments will take place several days before and during the weekend to be as recreational player friendly as possible. EAPT offers players the opportunity to spend time not only at poker tables but also in the tourist centres of Europe and beyond. This includes the famous pubs in Nottingham, the shops in Milan, the bustle of Barcelona, the rambling forest walks of Rozvadov, the beauty of Prague and the resort lifestyles of Malta and North Cyprus.

Each EAPT festival will have a basic schedule of several key tournaments and their satellites, as well as two or three other side event tournaments. An example:

o Days 1 - 3: EAPT CUP for €250 and satellites to the High Roller

o Days 3-4: EAPT High Roller for €1,100

o EAPT Main Event Day 1s for €560 and satellites

o Days 5-6: Main Event concludes along with a closing tournament.

Fans of cash games will of course be able to play No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha and other variants at all EAPT stops. The professional management team of EAPT is ready to organize any game.
